THE OPPORTUNITY
Snow Removal Careers & Owner-Operator Opportunities
Only Strata recruits owner-operators, snow plow operators, sidewalk crews, supervisors and selected sales professionals across our Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley winter network. Opportunities range from independent route assignments to seasonal field roles, supported by organized dispatch, documented service systems, training and established residential snow-removal routes.

Owner-Operator Routes
Approved independent operators can service dedicated residential snow removal routes within Only Strata’s operating network. Opportunities may expand to additional routes based on equipment, staffing, performance, reliability and available route capacity.

Earnings & Seasonal Opportunity
Owner-operator compensation depends on assigned routes, service volume, equipment, crew capacity, availability and winter weather. Some high-capacity operators managing multiple routes have historically generated $150,000+ in seasonal compensation, but results vary substantially and are not guaranteed.

Equipment & Financing
Owner-operator routes may require plow-ready 4×4 trucks, ATVs or UTVs, plows, spreaders, hand tools and smartphones for dispatch and documentation. Qualifying applicants may have access to $0-down equipment financing on approved credit, subject to eligibility, financing terms and equipment availability.

Snow Removal Crew Positions
Seasonal opportunities can include truck plow operators, ATV operators, sidewalk and shovelling crews, salting teams and route supervisors. Winter work frequently occurs overnight, early morning, on weekends and during holidays because service schedules follow weather conditions rather than standard business hours.

Dispatch, Training & Operational Support
Only Strata supports winter operations with property-specific instructions, route planning, weather monitoring, digital job queues, GPS records, timestamped photos and service documentation. Pre-season training helps operators and crews understand safety procedures, property requirements and service standards before winter events begin.

Requirements & Service Areas
Requirements vary by role, but owner-operators may need appropriate insurance, applicable WorkSafeBC coverage, suitable equipment, a safe driving record, reliable storm availability and compliance with Only Strata’s documentation standards. Opportunities may be available throughout our 22 service areas across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley based on current staffing and route needs.
